Let me repeat that.
NO ONE gives a shit about what you say you are going to do.
Like the drug lords quote in the movie 'Miami Vice' with Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell. Where the drug lord says "I don't buy a service, I buy a result."
That is how I work within my life.
No not selling drugs. But holding people to a standard. Holding myself to a standard that is higher than others would think about putting it.
Results is what it is all about.
It doesn't matter what you say you are going to do. It doesn't matter what happened, and what obstacles or problems you came across. All that matters is did you do what you said you were going to do? Did you get it done?
If not, then why are we talking?
If you cannot see yourself holding yourself to high standards, or accountable and responsible. I would suggest that you are in the wrong line of work, or you are around the wrong people.
The saying goes "If you cared about it you will find time for it."
So naturally if you didn't find time for it, it means that you didn't care for it. You weren't able to give the respect the situation deserves. Which should be a huge red flag for you if you are dealing with people who you call your friends.
