You ever hear the quote
"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything"
So let me ask you.
What do you stand for?
What are your beliefs?
What are you values?
What is your code?
What is your mission?
If you are sitting there struggling to answer these questions. I highly..... HIGHLY. suggest you figure it out.
You don't have to have completely different values and beliefs than other people. It is ok to stand for the same things as someone that you like, as well as some people that you don't like.
But, what is it that you stand for?
I am not going to ask you every question in the book to help you figure this out. I want you to be present in your life. Look and listen to everything around you. Notice things that you may not have noticed before. Pay attention to the mundane and the minutia in your life.
If you can't figure out what you stand for. You will be able to see and tell what it is that you let go, and don't do anything about.
Say there is a coworker getting bullied at work. Do you let it slide? Or do you stand up for them?
You see a friend of yours pay for food, and get more change back than what they gave the cashier. Do you say something about it, or let it slide?
Do you help those in need, or turn the other cheek?
Those are just a couple simple questions that you need to ask yourself in order to find what you stand for and what you don't.
Finding that information out will help define what kind of person you are.
Ya that's what this is about.
Who are you?
What type of person are you? Yes little "white lies" are harmless, but what does it lead into. Possibly telling actual lies so you don't get caught at something.
Do you let others manipulate you and push you around? Do you shy away when things get tense? Do you walk away when you see others getting harassed or pushed around?
Or do you say something. No matter how uncomfortable it makes you feel, or how bad things will happen for you.
So what kind of person are you? Do you know? Do you even care to find out? Are you content with living your mediocre life, with your average lifestyle?
Or do you want something much more. Something better. Something you can create and be apart of.
Where do you stant?
